It All Started With Curro
The little dog who changed everything.
Before My Little Dogs Collection ever existed, there was Curro.
At the time, I was still volunteering as a foster home for a local animal rescue organization. Flocke was already part of our family when Curro suddenly found himself in an emergency situation. He needed a foster home within 24 hours.
So I said yes.
When Curro arrived, he was practically placed right into my arms. He immediately curled up against me as if he were saying:
“Now nothing can happen to me.”
I had no idea then just how much this little dog was about to change my life.
And Then There Was Flocke
Flocke had been there first.
And she accepted Curro immediately.
She showed him, in her own way, that he was safe and that he had found a place where he belonged.
From the very beginning, the two of them were drawn to each other. They curled up together on the couch, slept body against body in the same bed, and soon discovered how much fun it was to play together.
What started as a temporary foster situation quickly became something much more.
A deep friendship grew between them — and a very special love.
His Protector. His Guide. His Best Friend.
Even today, Flocke is Curro's protector.
She is always the one who goes first when there is something new to explore. Curro follows in her footsteps, because he knows that if Flocke thinks it's safe, he can trust her.
They are very different in size.
But somehow, they have always been the perfect team.
The Man Who Didn't Like Little Dogs
There is one more part of the story that I have to tell. My husband used to say that he couldn't really understand what people saw in little dogs.
Then Curro came along.
Today, there may be no greater love than the one between the two of them.
Somehow, the little rescue dog who needed a foster home became the little dog who completely won his heart.
And That's How My Little Dogs Collection Began
Curro didn't just become part of our family.
He became the inspiration behind My Little Dogs Collection.
Living with him made me fall even more deeply in love with the incredible personalities, funny habits and enormous hearts of small dogs.
And I realized something:
Small dogs may take up less space — but they have a way of filling your whole heart.
My Little Dogs Collection is for the people who understand that.
For the ones who proudly call themselves Dog Moms and Dog Dads.
For the people who know that a little dog can have a very big personality.
And for everyone who wants to celebrate that special bond.

Every design in My Little Dogs Collection is inspired by the joy, chaos, humor and unconditional love that dogs bring into our lives.
